Shark Bait Is Transferred/ The Theora Family/ For the First Time in Forever

Dearest Family and Friends! I am so excited for this opportunity I have to email! I am sorry I did not email last week. I have much to update you on! I will not have much time today but I will give a quick update.

I have been transferred! After almost a year serving in Namburu and being able to serve close to the Mission President has been wonderful. I feel I have learned so many things and have had countless experiences and adventures I shall never forget. The Lord has blessed me in so many different ways.

I will continue to stay on the island of Efate and be moved to an area called Nambatu. It is in the very heart of Port Vila. My new companion's name is Elder Mallarme from Micronesia. I love him already and we are excited to work in the area. Elder Mallarme served in Nambatu for one transfer a few months ago so it is not a complete white wash but will certainly feel like one. I will also be in a walking area so I am excited about how many people we will be able to talk to in a day.

When I walked into the new apartment and meet Elder Mallarme we both noticed that the house looks like it has never been cleaned before. We will be spending a lot of the day cleaning but Elder Mallarme and I are both determined to help our house come clean.... if it ever was before.

I have talked a lot about the Theora Family (Max and Evelyn) Even though I will be leaving the area they will be able to be baptized along with two of their kids on April 13th. I am so happy for them!!! They invited us to a dinner last night before I left. Max went and dove for fish in the ocean for our last meal together and we got to review with them about the Plan of Salvation. If I only meet them my entire mission it would all be worth it. They mean so much to me and I am want their family to be together forever.

Sorry for the quick update. I know this Church to be true with all my heart and I am so happy to be serving the Lord. I know Jesus Christ and Our Father in Heaven live and love us. We are so blessed. I read Doctrine and Covenants 128:22 and felt the spirit remind me that we are not alone in this wonderful work of saving souls! I invite you to read it!

I love you all! Keep being awesome and know I am praying for you.

Love,

Shark Bait's GREAT Week/ Nothing Can Stop the Growth of The True Church/ Adorable Little Rascal

Hello, Hello beautiful People! My Family and Friends you are awesome! I think of you often and hope you know you are in my prayers. I love your emails and can't thank you enough for sending them.

This week has been really awesome for Elder Gunnell and I! We are working hard, being blessed with people to teach, and having a lot of success. I have really enjoyed working this week.

I had a moment this week which touched my heart. Elder Gunnell and I came back to have some lunch (We make a mean PB and J) and Elder Gunnell and I watched a talk from Elder Dieter F Uchtdorf called, "Behold The Man" In his talk Elder Uchtdorf bore a very powerful testimony of the Savior and how we must come to know Him as The Son of God. While we sat their eating our lunch I just felt a great warmth of gratitude Gratitude for the Savior and how we have a living Prophet and Disciples. We are so blessed!

Two awesome experiences I would like to share!

The first one: We were headed to a lesson and we ended up having a quick chat with a lady named Georgette. She was very curious about who we are and what two white boys in white shirts were doing walking around in Vanuatu. Georgette currently attends the Catholic church and was very willing to shares some of her beliefs. Our lesson with her ended up going so well!  After we shared how Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to the boy Joesph Smith we said something I will not forget. She said," I have felt something different. I don't know what it is. I will pray about what you have said. I have to know if this is true." It once again strengthened my testimony to see just how through the tiny prickling of the heart comes through the Holy Ghost. He is the true teacher of truth! How wonderful it is to be a missionary!

We started teaching a lady named Rini and her man named Donald. We have an awesome lady in our ward named Mama Winnie who started sharing the Gospel with Rini at her work. Winnie even went with us for our lesson and the spirit really was there as we testified of the Restoration. Winnie has been a great example to me how we can and should share the Gospel with everyone and anyone! We are all God's Children and need to have the wonderful blessings only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring.

Just today we went with Max to try and help him get everything figured out about getting him divorced. After several hours of waiting and talking with the Marriage Office and even a Priest at the Presbyterian Church (Who did his marriage back in 2005) we found he did not have a record and will not need to go through a divorce! Talk about miracles!

I Love you! Hope all of your weeks are fantastic!

Shark Bait Gets Back In the Game/ A Vist From Elder Haleck

My Dear Family and Friends! How are you?? I hope life is continuing to treat you well and you are seeing the blessings Our Father in Heaven has in store for all of us. I am sorry I have not emailed in a while but I am getting back in the game! So here is one! :) For those of you have emailed me personally,  I am sorry I haven't gotten to you. Thank you for reaching out to me. It means the world.

I am sure most of you have heard of or are experiencing the blessings of missionaries being able to have more communication with their families. Isn't it so cool how much revelation is being given to our Prophet?? Because I continue to work in the Office District we have been able to have access to computers and talk with our families.

It feels as if the Lord has hand wrapped a beautiful present and given it to me! Talking to my family has personally blessed me in so many different ways. Keaton and I have exchanged missionary experiences, I have gotten to see my beautiful sisters, and have loved hearing wonderful council from my Parents. You certainly count all the blessings in my life because there are so many!

We are teaching some amazing people right now and the work is continue to progress. I am excited about how the Gospel continues to bless their lives. I was reading the scriptures this week and found a powerful scripture in Psalms 19:7. This verse I feel testifies how the scriptures are perfect at converting the soul. It states how the scriptures will help the simple to become wise. Need guidance? Need to feel love? Want to know more about A Loving Father in Heaven? Go to the scriptures! I testify that the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God and as far as the Bible is translated correctly it too is the word of God. They have been such a blessing in my life and in my mission. I need them every day and I know you need them too. I implore you with all of my heart to open them and to feel the Love of The Lord which radiates from them. You will hear His voice.

One young lady we are teaching is named Aisha. She is 19 years old and super fantastic. We have worked very hard to try and teach her family who are not interested and never accepted an invitation to come to church. Yet, Aisha has been coming  to church for almost two months straight. Her love of the Gospel is growing. She shared an experience  of the most wonderful feeling of happiness which came from her prayers to know if the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God. I know the Spirit touched her heart and she wants to be baptized.  We are hoping we can continue to help surround her with friends  in the ward so she may be anchored and protected.

Still working with  a couple named Max and Evelyn. They have progressed  so well and have loved coming to church. We have started to teach them with all of their children. I have loved teaching them as a family. Family is like a Heaven on Earth and I want their Family to be for Eternity. So, we are working on getting Max divorced from a woman who ran away from him a long time ago so he can be married with Evelyn. It's never easy but it is certainly worth every effort.

Elder Haleck (Of the 70) and Sister Haleck came and visited our Mission this week. There is so much to say about his visit. The one thing which I would say left the biggest impression on me is how important  it is to have the help of the members in the ward and to teach the way the Savior always teachs us with great love and patience.

I love you and am so grateful for you. Thank you for believing in me and supporting me. I feel your prayers and send many your way. I Know Heaven is cheering you on.

Love,
